The Quest of Filming Superman By Behind Bad Luck

Today marks the beginning of our filming to start our film. The idea of us going out during school time is to see the scene where we are going to film to prologue. The prologue of our film will be shot in the playground which is outside All Saints. We believe that this is the best scene for us to shoot because it is an iconic image in our neighbourhood but also the fact that we decided the use a nearby climbing frame in order for us to get our desired high angle shot. The prologue we have filmed is when four band members approach someone in the park on the swings and ask them if they would like to join our band. This is where the person who is asked then looks up towards the sky where the beginning of the song will start. But before we had even decided to begin filming, we had to test the site to see if it was the right place for us to film.
The next plan for us to film is to shoot when we are going to show all of the band members putting on their iconic uniforms which is black shirts with checkered ties that is seen as normal ska uniform.
10/12/13
Today has been quite quiet since now three of the members of our group including me are waiting for our costumes to arrive from Amazon so that we can start filming. As I had previously mentioned in the earlier paragraph, our costumes are black shirts with checkered ties. So all that we are waiting for is for our ties to arrive. Although today has been slightly more informative because we are now deciding the next location which we are going to film next. The members of the group have decided that the next time we will be filming is probably in a Starbucks and some places in central London. Hopefully the ties will arrive soon so that we can film ASAP!

This weekend thankfully the tie that i had ordered so that we could use to start filming has finally arrived! I'm not entirely sure whether the other members of the group has ordered their ties and have received them but I'm sure that we will soon have a group meeting where we will discuss what we are planning on doing next. I believe that the next move for our group is to film all of the scenes in London soon especially since it is starting to get closer to Christmas which means that it will be getting cold very soon and people probably won't want to go out and film.

Now that we returned from our Christmas holidays, the plan was that the whole of the filming would be done and that we would have started or at least be through some way for editing. But since not everyone seems to be free at the same time we have not had an official day that we could all come to start filming. So again all of the members of our group will have to communicate so that we all know a day that we are free so that we can do the main bit of filming and go into London. Connor and Dapo during the holidays were able to go out one day and do a bit of filming but because the music video needs all of the members of our group, they were only able to get some footage. All of the members of the group so far have agreed that we will start filming on Sunday so that we can finally get all of the filming completed and finish the editing as well.

Okay now the group has finally decided that we are going to film this Thursday and Sunday to finally finish the rest of our filming. Now on Thursday we are going to start doing the band scenes where all of the people in the band are playing instruments. Now seeing as I have my own electric guitar, I will bring that in as I do not know if the music department will allow or even let us borrow their instruments.  Then on Sunday we will hopefully finish the rest of our filming and do the last scenes that we need to do in central London. Finally then hopefully we would have finished all of out filming and then will be able to just focus on the editing of the footage.

Now that we have finally filmed the band scene for the music video it means that all we have to do is the rest of the footage in London. Now that the editing is underway as well it means that we are making a lot of progress. Hopefully as soon as we do all of the filming over the weekend, we will be finished filming and the last thing to be is the editing. We would have already finished all of the filming this last Sunday but some people weren't able to make it or had complications which means that we had to call it off and decided to do it the following weekend.
